One Lux Studio is currently seeking a talented, passionate and creative Junior Lighting Designer to join our New York team. The successful candidate already has a basic familiarity with drawing production, specification writing, detailing, calculations, presentations, and renderings. Ability to demonstrate an innovative thought process and illustrate lighting design concepts is essential. You will be given as much responsibility for projects as you are capable of assuming, and you will have an opportunity to develop skills in all aspects of lighting design alongside a dedicated team of designers.
Bachelors’ degree in Architectural Lighting Design, and 1-2 years’ experience in the field of architectural lighting design is desired; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
Required proficiency in:
– AutoCAD
– Adobe Design Package
– AGi32
– COMcheck
Helpful experience with:
– Rhino
– Sketchup
– Revit
– MS Office
