The new Norfolk Southern headquarters located in downtown Atlanta functions as a 24-hour operated, two-tower building with each tower’s top floor hosting the executive levels. The base of the building includes a host of high-end amenities including an in-house daycare center, fitness; cycling and yoga studios, a multi-restaurant food court, town hall, and several exterior terraces; all connected with a large spiral staircase. The ground plane boasts a large-scale sculpture that weaves throughout the landscaped entry. Designed with Pickard Chilton, HOK, OJB and HKS, the result experience is a unique, creative and enjoyable approach to an office building.
