The new duty free shops at JFK Terminal 1 offered a great opportunity for exploration. The dramatic forms created contain a variety of different retailers and retail displays that needed to be “eye catching” and dramatic to draw in potential customers from the busy concourse. The lighting elements needed to integrate well into these forms as well as provide the appropriate lighting to make each retail experience exciting. This duty free shop’s performance significantly increased sales as compared to other similar establishments.
